The wake-up dance
Provided she's slept enough, waking up from her nap is probably Lea's happiest time. She has been pulling herself up to standing in her crib for a few weeks now, and has been learning the fine art of jumping on the bed. Sometimes she does this when she's in there alone, but never more exuberantly than when one of us comes in to retrieve her from her nap. I swear, she's the happiest creature on the planet.

Paige, she is such a doll! I still think she looks soooo much like you! And she does look very happy! Yeah, for having a baby that wakes up happy too!
It took eight months, but she finally made a face that reminds me of me as a baby (second one down). Yeah, I'm ego-absorbed. And I just love the bottom picture.

I was showing my mom the pictures you had posted of Lea and all she could keep saying was "Oh my God, that is Paige, she looks exactly like Paige!"

So cute! Now, look at the sixth picture down. Maybe it's because I was just out West, but the expression on her face is disturbingly similar to the one on the face of that poor elk being attacked by wolves in that scary picture Gran had over her couch.
And Eric, the picture that reminds me of you is the one where she's gnawing on the crib rail. Other than that, it's all Paige, all the time!
The second one is my favorite. Are you guys coming out here? When? Or is Eric going to see you? He and I obviously don't communicate with each other :)
She's adorable, Paige! I can't believe how big she's getting!
I think she looks like her dad. He's quite the looker!! I hear he's really smart too.
